What is VISH?

Vish is a color management system that helps measure every gram/ounce of color that we use for all of our chemical services.

Why VISH?

Sustainability- The Vish Salon Scale is designed to reduce waste by helping us measure exactly what we need, minimizing excess product usage. Therefore, preventing excess chemicals going down the drain. Our ultimate goal is to reduce the amount of product that we waste, saving you money and protecting the environment.

Customization We can offer more accurate and personalized services, ensuring that every treatment and color mix is just right for you and without any waste.

Ensuring Quality and Fair Pricing- Using Vish allows us to be precise with our color usage, which not only ensures the quality of your color but also helps us keep our pricing fair and transparent. If the system determines that more color is needed than what is typically used for a standard service, there will be an additional charge to cover the cost of the extra product.

FAQs about VISH:

What is a Product Allowance?

Product allowance is the amount of professional product (i.e. color, bleach, developer) that is included within a service. This, along with appointment time and stylist expertise determines the price of the services.

How Product Allowances are Calculated?

Before Vish, we added one price fits all supplement charge to cover costs of additional time / product. Now, when product used in the service exceeds the amount accounted for in the service price; Vish prompts an extra charge based on exactly how much is used. This adds the cost onto your appointment, instead of charging the same standard fee for everyone that needs extra color.

What are some of the reasons why I would be charged for extra color?

  • You’re aiming for a specific or drastic color change, which needs more product.

  • You have longer or thicker than average

  • It’s been a while since you colored your hair

  • Your hair requires more color to achieve an even and full coverage.

  • A complex color transformation

Will the extra charge price always be the same?

  • No, it can vary depending on different circumstances.
